Charlene joined the tribe two years ago, having been adopted. Her journey to reconnect with her roots began when her husband transferred them to Natchitoches, Louisiana, the home of the Adai Caddo Nation. Recognizing this as her heritage, Charlene worked diligently to trace her roots, providing DNA evidence and corresponding with Chief Rufus Davis. After obtaining her membership, she was able to meet her newfound family, who embraced her as if she had never left. Charlene expresses deep gratitude for this blessing, feeling the love and considering it a gift from God. Being part of the tribe has become an enjoyable and enriching experience for her.
