The Tribal Council is the governing body of the Adai Caddo Indian Nation of Louisiana. The council consists of six members: five council members and the chairman (chief). The council members are the vice chairman, secretary, treasurer, historian, and at- large. Members serve staggered five-year terms. The council meets regularly throughout the year to establish policies and directives governing the activities and programs of the tribe.
